Premium Book Printing
We produce premium books that represent brands, celebrate milestones and showcase creative work. Every book is printed and bound under one roof at our Marrickville book production facility, giving us full control over colour, materials, binding and finishing.
What we produce
Brand books, coffee table books, commemorative editions, anniversary publications, art books, design portfolios and prestige corporate publications. These are books designed to be kept, displayed and referred to repeatedly.
Every book is printed on our HP Indigo presses for colour accuracy, then bound and finished in-house using the method that matches the project: case binding for hard cover, section sewing for flat-opening durability, PUR binding for soft cover, or layflat binding for seamless double-page spreads.
Why produce a premium book
A printed book communicates permanence. In a world of screens, a physical book says this brand, this project, this story matters enough to produce in a format that lasts. Premium books are kept on desks, in reception areas and on bookshelves. They are picked up, flipped through and shared.
They also function as business tools. A lookbook handed to a buyer at a trade show has more impact than a PDF. A sales book left at a property display suite stays on the table long after the agent leaves.
Materials and finishing
Paper selection, cover materials, binding method and finishing details are all specified to match the project. We advise on stock weight, texture, coating and colour performance. Cover options include cloth wrap, printed wrap, foil-stamped board, embossed leather-grain and custom materials.
Finishing options include foil stamping, embossing, debossing, edge painting, ribbon markers, headbands and printed endpapers. These details elevate a good book into something that feels crafted.
How we produce premium books
Sheets are printed on our HP Indigo presses, folded, collated and bound on the same production floor. Covers are made, finished and cased in-house. There is no outsourcing in the production chain.
We produce sample books and binding dummies so you can assess the feel, weight and opening behaviour before committing to a full run.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum run size for premium books?
Digital printing has no minimum. We regularly produce runs of 10 to 50 premium books. Unit cost decreases as quantity increases.
How long does a premium book take to produce?
Allow 7 to 10 working days for case-bound books after print approval. Simpler bindings are faster. Complex finishing (foiling, edge painting, hand assembly) may extend the timeline.
Can I get a sample book before the full run?
Yes. We produce binding dummies and printed samples so you can assess the physical result before approving production.
What paper should I use?
It depends on the content. Image-heavy books suit silk or satin coated stocks. Design portfolios often use uncoated or textured paper. We advise on the right stock for your content type and budget.
Can you help with design or layout?
We provide prepress and artwork support. For design and layout services, we work with your agency or can recommend experienced book designers.
