Fuji Revoria Toner Printing

The Fuji Revoria is a high-speed toner press that handles substrates and formats the HP Indigo cannot, including formed envelopes down to 90mm x 90mm and sheet sizes up to B3. It complements our Indigo presses for jobs where speed, format flexibility or substrate type dictates the method. We run the Fuji Revoria in-house at our Marrickville digital print department.

What the Fuji Revoria does

The Revoria uses dry toner technology to print CMYK plus white onto a wide range of stock sizes and formats. It prints at high speed, handles irregular substrates like pre-formed envelopes, and produces clean, consistent output for volume digital work.

Toner sits on top of the substrate surface rather than penetrating it. This produces a slightly different finish compared to the HP Indigo, but for many commercial applications the difference is not material to the end result.

When to use the Fuji Revoria

The Revoria is the right press for formed envelope printing, high-volume digital runs where toner speed is advantageous, oversize sheets up to B3, and jobs where white toner on dark stocks is required without the Indigo ink setup.

Common applications include branded envelope runs, direct mail campaigns, oversize certificates, personalised forms, and volume business stationery. It also handles variable data for personalised mailings and addressed print.

Revoria versus Indigo

The Indigo is the primary production press for quality-critical work on speciality substrates. The Revoria handles the formats and substrates the Indigo cannot reach. We select the press based on the job requirements, not on machine availability.

For premium brand books, textured stock printing and image-rich publications, the Indigo is the better choice. For envelopes, volume mail and B3 sheet work, the Revoria is faster and more practical.

How we use the Fuji Revoria

The Revoria runs alongside our two HP Indigo presses on the same production floor. Jobs are assigned to the appropriate press during prepress planning. Colour profiles are managed to ensure consistency when elements of the same campaign are split across presses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the Revoria print on formed envelopes?

Yes. It handles formed envelopes from 90mm x 90mm upward in full colour, including white toner on dark envelope stocks.

What is the maximum sheet size?

B3 (364mm x 515mm), which is larger than the standard SRA3 maximum of most digital presses.

Is toner quality as good as Indigo?

Toner produces clean, consistent output suitable for most commercial applications. On textured or uncoated stocks, the Indigo produces a more natural result because its liquid ink penetrates the paper fibres.

Can the Revoria print white?

Yes. White toner is available for printing on dark and coloured substrates.

What is the turnaround on envelope printing?

Typically 2 to 3 working days for standard envelope runs. Rush turnaround is available on request.
